There are doubts as to whether Wayne Rooney will travel to Switzerland for England's Euro 2012 qualifier on Tuesday amid allegations about his private life.
A number Sunday newspapers have carried reports about the Manchester United striker, and now some sources are suggesting he may not be involved for England's next game.
Rooney played the full 90 minutes of England's opening Euro 2012 qualifer against Bulgaria on Friday, helping the Three Lions to a comfortable 4-0 success at Wembley.
But now boss Fabio Capello, may be forced into a re-think with doubts over Rooney's participation.
England are yet to travel to Switzerland and Rooney is still with the squad, and as yet the Football Association are refusing to comment on the speculation.
England are already without the injured Peter Crouch for the game in Basel and should Rooney pull out, it would leave just three forwards in the squad - Jermain Defoe, Darren Bent and Carlton Cole.
