Learning french

J'aimerais apprendre du français mais c'est difficile sans un professeur ou sans quelqu'un pratiquer avec. Vous a quelque conseil, s'il vous plaît ?

Vue la syntaxe de certains, ça semble parfois difficile.

what they say is true,you have to go to the pub with us,it's the best way to learn french.

You come to learn french and I can see that we all improve our english...

From my own experience, I've noticed a few factors that helped me improve my english (I was terribly bad at college) :

- go to the country. It changes everything, and the motivation! (I went to Scotland when I was 13, got mad, and went 16 times now)

- go to the web everyday to read in french almost 30 minutes a day (with us or elsewhere)

- try to watch some french movies subtitled in english (or english movies subtitled in french?)

- try to watch french tv (news channel as a beginning) and/or listen french radio (it's a bit more difficult for you, as, from my own exemple, I started listening to FiveLive games)

Thanks, BR. Seems like reasonable advice. I really appreciate the input people have given me on this thread, especially because you all seem to have learned English, so you are aware of the difficulties learning a second language.

Je suis d'accord, l'Anglais est facile.

well if you except the weird english accents,english is simple.

L'Anglais n'est pas facile, surtout lorsqu'on demande un renseignement à un employé de British Rail à Glasgow Central!

Glaswegian's ne parlent pas l'Anglais, ils parlent merde. C'est difficile pour moi comprends le Glaswegian.

même avec une bonne immersion locale,c'est compliqué.
l'accent du sommerset ,il fait vraiment campagne locale (let's say "deep local countryside accent") mais je l'aime beaucoup!!!

Ouai, aussi RAOTL et TLW, mais TLW est pas bon.

les habitués de ynwa.tv sont souvent à l'oakfield juste avant le match.
je suis souvent sur ynwa.tv mais j'ai rarement le temps de lire ce qu'il y a d'écrit dessus.
sur notre forum à nous,ici,tu trouveras des vraies bibles du football.
sur ynwa.tv ,il y en a des bibles du football,sauf,que eux ont la
possibilité d'aller à tous les matchs de LFC,pas nous!!!
